PhotoThe people of Indonesia had a rare opportunity of seeing the Solar eclipse on Monday afternoon.
The people of Indonesia were the only ones in the world who were able to see the total Solar eclipse on Monday afternoon.
The Moon passed between the Earth and the Sun, creating a visual effect of “blending”. It blocked most on the sunshine and the scorching circle of the Sun`s corona was visible all around the Moon.
The total eclipse lasted 6 minutes and was visible from the Southern parts of Sumatra, Western parts of Java and central Kalimantan, the JakartaPost reports.
You can see the natural phenomenon recorded with a camera in the attached photo gallery: Solar Eclipse Casts A Shadow Over Indonesia.
