Croatian representative at this year`s Miss Global Beauty Queen contest, which will be held in Shanghai, is Tajana Marosi.

Tajana Marosi (24) from Osijek will represent Croatia at this year`s Miss Global Beauty Queen contest, which will be held in Chinese Shanghai.

This versatile Law School final year student, who supports herself working as a nurse, will travel to Shanghai on September 6 and will stay there until the end of month. Tajana qualified for the competition by winning the Miss Bikini Croatia title and the Miss Tourism of Croatia first runner up title. This Osijek beauty dedicated her titles to her prematurely deceased father and her entire family which has always been supportive.

In a telephone call, Tajana told Javno that beauty pageants were a great challenge for her. She expects to win a title, because she has put a lot of effort into the preparations.

- Ever since I was little, I used to watch beauty pageants on TV and fantasised about winning a title one day – Tajana said.

While the organisation covers travel expenses and accommodation, Tajana had to take care of the clothes, extension and coreography. Croatian designer Igor Anic from Belisce created Tajana`s dresses for the competition, including the national dress. During the talent show of the competition, Tajana Marosi will dance salsa.
