Olivier Theyskens sent his models out on the catwalk in enormous, 20-centimetre high platform shoes.

Nina Ricci’s collection left quite an impression at the Paris Fashion week as the models were accompanied by hard, piercing music and enormous platform shoes, Wsj reported. 

Dominating the collection were wide shoulders and strict lines.

Belgian designer Olivier Theyskens designed the collection for Nina Ricci and sent his models out on the catwalk wearing 20-centimetre-high platform shoes.

Although the collection was mostly black, Theyskens broke the monotony with red, purple and gold evening gowns.

- It’s about that nocturnal feeling. not about going out to party. It’s more about nocturnal moonlight – the designer told the media.
