The largest name to attend this year’s London Fashion Week, Vivienne Westwood, presented her long awaited Red Label collection.

The London Fashion Week finished last weekend, and delighted all those present with glamour and luxury. Amongst the newer talents to introduce themselves was Paolo Aggugini, known as Kinder, and strong British names like Margaret Howell and John Rocha. However, the absolute queen of high fashion remained Vivienne Westwood, who presented her collection at the end of the fashion show, and ensured a spectacular end to the week. Last week she celebrated her 25th anniversary of style.

New names in the fashion scene

Paolo Agguini Kinder, liked by the fashion industry, debuted in London for the first time, presenting his own collection. Kinder previously worked for Calvin Klein and Versace, and his models were worn by Madonna.
One of the most interesting fashion shows was by Topshop, in which the designers showed that they have talent and style to offer the public, presenting an unforgettable sight of the show. They used the music theme from the film “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, and science fiction certainly inspired the non-regular silhouettes of the clothing, accompanied by oversized shoulders and hoods. For their autumn/winter collection, Topshop offered roomy clothing, which was certainly modern.

Fiery red collection by former punker

The biggest attraction of the show was Vivienne Westwood, with her long awaited red Label collection, inspired by the drawings “St.Trinian’s” by Ronald Searle. This former punker offered girls that are comfortable in children’s clothing wide knitted vests, large “rugby” shirts, and low waistline pants. However, Vivienne did not forget about provoking clothing, which she mostly presented in a red fiery colour.
