PHOTO: Williamson And Sui Present Colour Fashion

Sun has shone on all who described the New York Fashion Week as depressing and dull, as Williams` models strolled down the runway.

The latest star of H&M`s special edition, Matthew Williamson, chased away dull recession coulds which loomed over New York Fashion week, with his 2009/2010 autumn/winter collection.

Unlike most designers, he shone a light on th catwalk with his recognisable colourful creations, tight and short cocktail dresses, knitting, leather trousers and additionally emphasised silhouette as he tightened the belt. Hollywood`s golden boy, whose dresses are worn by young actresses, introduced poetry to the catwalk with his cocktail dresses. Zac Posen set up five pianos in the middle of the catwalk, while Nicole Richie, Alicia Keys, Rachel Bilson, Joy Bryant and Claire Danes watched in the front row. Anna Sui reserved the largest tent in Bryan Park for her fashion show, while the British IT girl Agyness Deyn opened the show. The designer paid special attention to lining tones and textures, combining chiffon, wool, tweed, velvet etc. The collection was enriched with floral prints, including butterflies in chocolate, blue, red and grey tones. According to the new guidelines on fashion accessories which are wanted in recession, Sui enriched her collection with fake feather hats and jewellery designed by Erickson Beamon.
