PHOTO: Zagreb Hair Show – Hottest World Trends

The Croatian audience will be able to see new hairstyling trends at the same time as the audiences in Paris and London.

Zagreb has shown it was keeping up with large global cities: London and Paris with the first Zagreb Hair Show which will take place at the Hypo expo Centre on October 30.

The project was organised by the Zagreb Crafts Chamber and the Association of Craftsmen of Zagreb. Hairstylists from the following hair salons in Zagreb will take part in the programme: Allure, Andreas, Cool, Go Cut, Kefa, Lobby, Nefertiti, Petra, She, Studio W, Tempora, Urban, Zanetti, Zagreb Art Team, Wox.

- Hairstylists are the greatest artists in the crafts profession, they do everything with their hands. Most hairdressers who are taking part just returned from London, which means that after only ten days Zagreb will see the same as London had the chance to – Ivica Zanetti said, adding that romantic hairstyles and earthy colours were the hit of the season.

Models will show off the newest trends on a catwalk that will be decorated with elements simbolising a walk in Zagreb’s streets. The Zagreb Hair Show also initiated a humanitarian run “Hairstylists Helping Children”, through which they will collect funds for the Croatian UNICEF by selling promotional material – teddy bears, as well as through an auction of donated items with signatures of UNICEF ambassadors. The head of the prestigious international event Alternative Hair Show, Tony Rizzo, supported the event with a three-day education at a renowned London hairstyle academy, the Sanrizz.
