HARTFORD, Conn., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Police in Connecticut said a drunken driving suspect was arrested after he was spotted trying to free his car from a row of bushes.
Hartford police said officers spotted Angel Guevara, 38, trying to free his 2002 Volkswagen Passat from the bushes about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, The Hartford Courant reported Monday.
Police said officer Aaron Vafiades administered field sobriety tests and Guevara performed poorly. The suspect, who refused a breath test, was charged with driving while under the influence and released on a promise to appear in court Jan. 20.
