Psychiatrist: Immature Persons Watch Porn

Men who watch porn think of sex as mating. Women identify sex with love, but learn from adult films, psychiatrists claim.

Pornography is a word which causes an increase rush of blood to a man`s organ, while it makes women blush.

Immature persons watch porn, to be warned of the technique. However, break-ups occur, because immature persons start seeing sex as mating, because this is what pornography states. Sex is communication, many don`t get this and this is why relationships break up.

However, is this still the case today? In order to find out the answer to the question who watches porn and whether it does more good than harm, we contacted psychiatrists Zelimir Skocilic and Vladimir Gruden.

Psychiatrist Zelimir Skocilic explained that he assumes that men watch pornographic material with lust, while women are inclined to a more rational approach to skimpy works and see the aesthetic side.

On the other hand, psychiatrist Vladimir Gruden claims that the approach to pornography is individual and it is impossible to separate it, however, there are features which make the two genders significantly different.

- Men watch porn for pleasure, while women want to learn from it, therefore they turn to the practical side. They do this because they want to adjust to the man and his demands. Of course, the other way round is possible as well, when women watch porn for pleasure and men to learn something new – Gruden claims

Men separate sex and love, women don`t usually

Men are also more inclined to viewing sex as pleasure. However, this rarely happens to women.

- Women are emotionally more practical, they see sex as a constituory part of love, like communication, which is what sex is. They don`t separate sexuality and love, while their partners often do – the prominent psychiatrist told us.

It is a well-known fact that many celebrities were treated for sex addiction or addressed the public with raunchy details from their bedroom.

However, if it happens for an actress to confess that she often likes to sneak a peak at porn websites, then this is shocking and by default, the women is labelled as morally challenged.

Zelimir Skocilic blames the media for this, but also believes that people are starting to finally tolerate this because of women becoming emancipated.

Men are afraid of women who know more about sex than they do

Vladimir Gruden believes that prejudice prevails in such situations, according to which women should not watch porn because this is not desirable.

- Men are afraid of such women because they believe that they might expect more from then, therefore it makes them less potent.

Apart from this, women often believe they are expected to be blonde, that their hair should reach down to their behind, which is reminiscent of J-Lo`s, and that they should be busty and have excellent chest even without a bra. Therefore, in most cases, they want to look attractive and resemble models from magazine covers.

However, Gruden claims otherwise and convinces that a man lets his ideal woman remain what he imagines her to be like and “figuratively lets it slide” when selecting his partner. In this case, a man wants the practice of, let`s say, anal or oral sex, modelled after films.

Pornography does help one thing, but really to little extent. Psychiatrists point out that it teaches adolescents techniques, in order to wipe away their fear of something new.

Adolescents are not the only ones who watch porn, but mature adults.

- Clearly, such persons are immature, then cannot realise love with their partner. They believe they will manage to expand their relationship this way. Often, physical orgasm can be achieved during intercourse, but the mental one is absent. Then neurasthenia occurs. Partners should enjoy sex together as communication – psychiatrist Vladimir Gruden believes.
