Proper and regular care is most important in treating oily skin. You need to care that your skin does not get too dry or oily.
Oily skin demands special care, especially in summer. Aggressive treatments can dry the skin too much and damage it, whilst oil based treatments can only contribute to the awkward oily shine. We bring you a number of methods to manage oily skin so that you look great.
Correct cleaning
The increased secretion of suet, acids and salt, and surface skin cells as well as the remains of makeup can create an aggressive layer on the skin, so cleaning is very important, reports MSN. Lotions or gels will small particles are ideal for cleaning the skin. After that a herbal tonic that reduces oiliness is recommended. Creams and emulsions with a matting effect are the best – they soak in fast, link the oils, and have the effect of slight cooling.
You should carry out peeling twice a week in order to slow down the closing of pores and the creation of pimples – which often accompany oily skin which is prone to bacterial infections. You can then use a cleansing gel with pH 5.5, a blackhead remover, anti-bacterial lotions, soft peeling once a week and a mask which has deep effects.
Do not overdo tanning treatments
A healthy amount of suntan lotion to put on your face is one teaspoon.
If you put more your skin will be too shiny. Skip your moisturiser in the morning and put on suntan lotion based on minerals, and your skin will look good all day.
Back off the makeup
Not only is powder too heavy for the summer heat, but it melts and clogs up pores, and then they make even more oil. Instead of heavy powders, choose toned hydrating creams with silicone or mineral powders that will absorb oils from your face like a sponge.
Be careful of what you eat
Alcohol and overly spicy food will not do anything good for your skin. Your veins will expand, which can lead to sweating, meaning even more shine.
Limit yourself to one drink a night and do not eat spicy foods more than once a week. Your everyday diet should include carrots, spinach and pumpkin. These foods are full of vitamin A which slows down the production of oil.
Avoid fluffy pads
Pads which are used to apply makeup can often be a breeding ground for bacteria. Instead of them you should use a large brush. You should regularly clean your makeup brushes with lukewarm water and detergent.
Liquid powders should always be applied with a sponge.
