TOO MUCH COMMUNICATION

Teenagers speak more and more about their disappointments and analyse one and the same problem all over again, a study has shown.
Adolescent girls who are obsessed with Facebook have a high risk of depression because they talk too much, scientists say, according to the Daily Mail.
Although communication is positive for mental health, scientists claim that communicating too much makes young women prone to anxiety and depression.
Psychologists claim that today’s technology provides young women a lot of opportunity to voice their problems via text messages, e-mails and social community networks. Experts claim that such a rumination of emotions can be harmful for mental health.
A study that was conducted in America reveals that teenagers increasingly speak about their disappointments and analyse one and the same problem over and over again. This has a negative effect on their mood and spurs even more negative emotions, which could, in the end, lead to a very serious form of depression.
The research has also shown that girls of adolescent age spend much more time speaking about their problems than adolescent boys.
