Tom Ford Still Recovering From Split With Gucci

The former head of Gucci’s creative department is still recovering from the split with them, even though he has his own fashion label.

Tom Ford said that he experienced his separation from the fashion house Gucci like a divorce. The designer ended his cooperation with the fashion house in 2004, and since then he has experienced it like a divorce from a loved person, writes Femalefirst.

He worked for Gucci for a full ten years. Even though more than five years have passed since their cooperation ended, Tom still remembers the old days. Since then Ford has launched his own fragrance, sunglasses and exclusive men’s collection.

Initially, nobody believed in him

He said that he knew that people laughed at his new creative idea. Even though his success was great after he launched his collection of sunglasses, some people continued to laugh at his new business move.

After splitting from Gucci, Tom Ford created his own fashion line with his own name. The fashion label Tom Ford makes men’s clothing, cosmetics, sunglasses, men’s and women’s fashion accessories.

He opened his first store in New York in Madison Avenue.
