This year’s traditional Vanity Fair will have no hint of glamour because of the global crisis and the number of attendants will be fewer.
The traditional glamorous party the Vanity Fair fashion magazine organises every yet after the Oscar awards will this year be far from the glamour attendants of the event are used to. As the global economic crisis is affecting all areas, the leaders of the renowned magazine decided to organise a rather humble party and reduce the list of invitees as much as possible.
Although last year’s party did not take place due to a mass protest by screen writers, Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter, confirmed a party would take part next year, but in a completely different form.
The party will take place, but due to the new developments and the economic crisis, we will curb expenses this year and significantly fewer guests will be invited than the previous years, the magazine’s editor said, adding that the party would resemble the magazine’s first party 15 years ago which was pretty humble.
