VIDEO: Great White Shark Tugs Surfer

The American`s unusual hobby left passers by breathless – the surfer was pulled by a great white shark!

A fearless 25-year-old surfer, whose identity is not familiar, had the idea of surfing while being pulled by a shark. A great white shark, to be precise, The Sun writes.

The surfer noticed a fin cutting through the water near Florida`s New Smyrna Beach and decided to jump off the pier. He got the shark`s attention with large pieces of bloody meat which he hooked on a fishing rod. Once the shark bit and swallowed the bait, the surfer`s fun could begin.

Curious passers by gathered and observed the surfer`s odd venture in disbelief. Witnesses of the exhibition say the surfer is a legend who shows no fear and they often see him jumping into the water from the pier, in search of sharks.

A great white shark tugged him at 35 kmph, while the bizarre fun ended after some 30 seconds of the wild ride when the hook broke.

The shark swam away, leaving the surfer unharmed, free to experience new acrobatics.
