Croatians wanting luxury finally do not have to exit the country. The first Aston Martin car salon was opened in Zagreb.
In the presence of the British Ambassador to Croatia, David Blunt, Dr Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin’s Chief Executive, and, Jakov Covic-Pavisic cut the ribbon to officially open the dedicated Aston Martin showroom, located in the heart of the city’s main commercial district, the vehicle company said in a statement on Thursday.
The 302 sq/m showroom, opened for business in February 2009, incorporates Aston Martin’s key retail design elements, accommodates five cars and includes a dedicated service facility. The new Zagreb dealership displays examples of the company’s model line-up; V8 Vantage, V8 Vantage Roadster, DB9, DB9 Volante and the flagship DBS, as carefully positioned as a piece of sculpture presented in an intimate, gallery-style space. These will soon be joined by the V12 Vantage and DBS Volante which debuted at the Geneva Auto Salon earlier this month and later this year, the elegant four-door Rapide sports coupe.
-Croatia has been one of the fastest growing economies in the region over the past years. Bringing Aston Martin to Croatia is the consequential answer to this fact. In order to build a sustainable successful business you have to be present in a market. It is important that we remain committed to our ambitious expansion plans - Aston Martin’s CEO Dr Ulrich Bez said.
The car market in Croatia has seen impressive growth rates since 2000, with the luxury car and sports car segments, in particular, increasing above average.
- Aston Martin is in the strongest position it has ever been. We have the most fascinating products. We have come to Croatia to meet the rising demand for luxury sports cars and to offer the perfect products to people who want to drive cars that radiate power, beauty and soul - Ulrich Bez said.
