The unique beauty of the supermodel Kate Moss was imprinted on another artwork that was made by Yuko Nasu.
Another artist has confirmed that the British supermodel is the Mona Lisa of the 21st century.
After the status of the supermodel in 50 kilograms of gold, that was made by Marc Quinn, and Alex Katz who painted a portrait of her, Yuko Nasu has followed in their footsteps. The Japanese citizen Nasu, who is known for painting portraits of unknown people, did not resist placing Kate into a work that she will present at an independent exhibition.
“My aim is to remind the audience of someone they know when they look at my work. The person they see depends on who they are” “I am curious about what sorts of things can make a person be recognised or differentiated from others” said Nasu, reports Vogue.
Yuko Nasu has also painted Russell Brand.
The exhibition opens tomorrow in London’s John Doe Gallery at 65 Davies Street.
