A Loss In Israel Means No Euro For England

Text

Before England are the two most important games of the qualifications, against Israel and Andora, in which they need to get six points.

The 32 year old Bolton player, Israeli representative Idan Tal, says that if England lose Saturday’s game in Tel Aviv, they can say goodbye to the Euro next year.

- I want to go as far as saying that the team that loses that match has no chance of qualifying for the Euro 2008 – said Tal.

England and Israel currently share third place with seven points, three less than Croatia, and Bolton’s player says that hell awaits them in Tel Aviv.

- England is under pressure that they must win, it has no right to fail. It will be hard for them in Israel, they will be awaited by 50,000 motivated fans who will make an atmosphere two to three hours before the match. There are few teams who have not fallen to the fiery atmosphere at the Ramat Gan stadium.

Their great winning spree on their own field was broken by Croatia when they lost 4-3 in November last year. England should now continue the tradition which Croatia started and take three points. Bolton’s player says that England has the quality but that they will not give up in advance.

- England are strong at every position, and we will have to play at the highest level to gain a positive result – concluded Tal.
