Beckham: I Still Want To Play For The Squad

Beckham claims he did not say farewell to the representation, and hopes to play again for England.

Real Madrid side midfielder, David Beckham, following the World Championship in Germany, decided to hand over the captain squad arm band, not knowing what is in store for him. Selector dismissal on the bench alienated him from the representation.

-If people think my representation career is over, I want to show them they are wrong- Beckham said.

-I am like Alex Ferguson. When people doubt him, he proves them wrong- he added, continuing – I never backed down from the representation. I am available to them even in the USA.

He does not consider the transfer to USA as a kind of withdrawal, but as a new challenge in his life.

-I received offers from England and Italy, but I always want a challenge. I have played for 15 years on the highest level for Manchester United and Real Madrid, going to the USA I consider a step forward in my life- Beckham concluded.
