Blatter is advocating a `6+5´ rule, which means each club must have at least six local players in their starting line-up.
The president of FIFA Sepp Blatter repeated his request to the European Union, that they support his plan on limiting the number of foreign players in European clubs.
On Monday in Prague, Blatter spoke about this to the Czech president Vaclav Klaus, because the Czech Republic is presiding the European Union in the first half of this year.
At least six local players
Blatter is advocating the implementation of a “6+5” rule, which means that every club must have at least six local players in their starting line-up.
The president of FIFA considers that this would reduce the domination of rich clubs in national leagues and European Cup competitions.
