Fans stoned the bus with Manchester United’s players in it whilst it was leaving the stadium, and broke some glass. Nobody was injured.
A group of Chelsea fans attacked the bus that was carrying Manchester United’s players after the football match between their clubs ended without a winner, 1:1.
The “Blues” fans threw stones at the bus whilst it was leaving Stamford Bridge Stadium, and broke the windscreen, but luckily none of the “Red Devils” players were injured.
The leadership of Chelsea distanced themselves from the incident and apologised to their colleagues from Manchester United.
A statement from Chelsea said: “It appears to be an isolated incident but we have launched a full investigation in conjunction with local authorities”.
The big derby of the English football championship has ended without a winner, 1:1. Manchester United took the lead in the 18th minute, but the result was equalized by Kalou in the 80th minute. After an incomplete fifth round, Arsenal are leading with 12 points, Chelsea and Liverpool have 11 points each, whilst Manchester United are in fifteenth position with only 5 points.
