CUTTING BACK ON EXPENSES

The club decided to get rid of Marshall, because they allegedly lack the funds for him and Anderson. However, they brought in Sundov.
Cibona BC has introduced a great reinforcement, Alan Anderson, who played in the NBA league, but not to strengthen the current team – to replace Rawle Marshall, who is no longer useful to the team as the was banned from playing for three months in the NLB league.
No money for Marshall, but Sundov is a go
Anderson will be playing on Saturday against Zadar, but the question is how much he will be able to help the team, seeing how he will arrive on Friday. Still, the main news is the club`s move in the Marshall case. He exchanged blows with Stemberger, deserved the punishment, but not that greater than the other figure of the fight. The impression remains that he served as an example.
And then, instead of the club standing behind him, it has led him to despair. Official Cibona Tower comment is that they lack funds for both players and that the NLB league is the most important thing at the moment, while Marshall will not stay in it for too long. However, the club could have found a solution which Marshall would agree on – which is to reduce his income until the penalty is over.
Thus, the club decided to get rid of its best scorer and one of the best foreigners to have played for the Wolves in this century. Time will tell if this move was unnecessary, but hope remains that Anderson, who is not in Marhsall`s league, will be able to fill the void.
Only one question remains, how come that Cibona cannot afford Marshall and Anderson, but can Sundov and Anderson. Furthermore, other reinforcements are mentioned, which means there is money after all and that Cibona has turned its back on Marshall.
