OMAHA, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Doug McDermott went 8-of-14 from the field for 25 points Sunday and 21st-ranked Creighton blew past Southern Illinois 90-71.

McDermott also hauled down 11 rebounds.

Antoine Young added 14 points for the Bluejays (16-2, 6-1 MVC). Grant Gibbs also reached double figures with 10 points in Creighton's sixth straight victory.

The Salukis (6-12, 3-4) were led by T.J. Lindsay's 13 points. Jeff Early added 11, and Mamadou Seck contributed 10 and eight rebounds.
