Text

STARKVILLE, Miss., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Gerald Robinson got hot in overtime Saturday, collecting eight of his 13 points down the stretch to help Georgia upset 18th-ranked Mississippi State 70-68.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 20 points and eight rebounds for Georgia (12-12, 3-7 SEC), which canned 11 three-pointers and hauled down 15 offensive rebounds in the win.

Georgia barely hung on for the upset when Mississippi State's Dee Bost just missed a would-be, game-winning 3-pointer as the buzzer sounded to end overtime.

Mississippi State (19-6, 6-4) got 21 points from Bost but still saw its 13-game home winning streak snapped.
