MURRAY, Ky., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Murray State's Isaiah Canaan pumped in 23 points and Saturday and the seventh-ranked Racers got back on the winning track with a 82-63 rout of Austin Peay.

Ivan Aska and Jewuan Long each contributed 12 points for the Racers (24-1, 12-1 OVC), who bounced back from their first loss of the season to Tennessee State Thursday.

Canaan added six assists.

The victory over the Governors moved Murray State to the brink of clinching its third straight Ohio Valley Conference regular season championship.

Austin Peay (9-18, 6-7) got 15 points from Alton Williams.
