COL BKB (W): Tennessee 85, Ohio State 75

DAYTON, Ohio, March 26 (UPI) -- Shekinna Stricklen scored 20 points and Meighan Simmons added 18 Saturday to lead Tennessee past Ohio State 85-75 and into the NCAA Women's regional semifinals.

The victory kept the perennial powerhouse Lady Vols (34-2) on track for their ninth national title.

Stricklen had seven rebounds for Tennessee, who out-rebounded the Buckeyes 40-25 and had eight turnovers to Ohio State's 13.

Samantha Prahalis led Ohio State (24-10) with 22 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Jantel Lavender had 19 points and nine boards for the Buckeyes, who shot 50 percent from the field to Tennessee's 47.4 percent.

The Lady Vols outscored Ohio State 45-33 in the second half and will face either Notre Dame or Oklahoma in Monday's regional finals at Dayton.
