Vedran Corluka will continue his career in Manchester City where he should be earning 3 million euro per season.
Dinamo football club vice president Zdravko Mamic today announced details Vedran Corluka`s transfer to Manchester City, the 24sata web site reports.
Zdravko Mamic admitted on Wednesday that the sale of Vedran Corluka to Manchester City was a done deal.
-Dinamo will get 13 million euro, and Vedran 15 million euro for five years – executive vice president revealed.
Corluka is supposed to set out for Manchester on Thursday, accompanied by Zoran Mamic and sign this contract. According to Mamic, Corluka will out top Eduardo when it comes to the transfer amount (28 million euro), thus becoming best paid Croatian footballer. Out of the Dinamo tercet of best players, Luka Modric is the only one who remains. The question is for how long.
-We can get 20 million euro for him now, but we will not give him up. We want 25 and will not give him right now- Mamic said.
When Mamic sells the captain, along with the money of the two already sold players, the club is supposed to earn around 50 million euro.
-We have ensured normal work for an entire decade with this money- Mamic added.
