Text

After a solid game in the first half, Croatia led 15:12, but in the second half the Poles reversed the result and won 31:24.

The Croatian handball team lost to Poland 31:24 in a friendly match which took place in Crikvenica. The guests took their own back for the defeat against the Croats the day before in Crikvenica.

Coach Lino Cervar did not have the world’s best player, Ivano Balic, Petar Metlicic and goal keeper Veni Losert at his disposal.

After a solid game in the first half, Croatia led 15:12, but in the second half, Coach Cervar gave a chance to all players. His choice eventually proved to be negative for the result.

The best players in the Croatian team were Blazenko Lackovic with six goals, Mirza Dzomba with five, and Mirko Alilovic who deviated eleven shots towards the Croatian goal.
