The Croatian player should be making three million euros per season in Juventus. He will sign a four-year contract.
According to the German magazine Kicker, Croatia’s forward who is currently playing in Bundesliga’s Hamburg, Ivica Olic, 29, has agreed with Juventus leaders to play for the Torino club next season.
Olic should be making three million euros per season in Juventus. He will sign a four-year contract. Since his contract with Hamburg expires at the end of this season, he will transfer to Juventus without compensation.
- We would like to keep Olic, but that will be very difficult – Hamburg’s sports director Dietmar Beiersdorfer said.
The Italian club which was national champion 27 times in its history is known for headhunting players that it does not have to pay compensation for. They have been following Olic for some time.
Olic came to HSV in January 2007 from Moscow’s CSKA and scored 25 goals in 62 league matches. This season he scored nine times – six in he championship, two in the Cup and one in the Uefa Cup.
