We are very sorry about what happened with the bus and our children, but are happy nobody was killed, said the Danish attaché for the media.
The Danish attaché for the media, Finn Tage Jensen, is staying with the Danish national handball team at the Valamar Diamant hotel in Porec. They heard the first information about a Danish bus full of students rolling over from the mayor of Porec. The students were planning to watch their national team play at today’s World Handball Championship match in Porec, Croatia.

“He called us and said that the Danish bus carrying students had an accident, but that all are well. Danish sports schools often organize trips to matches for their students. We are very sorry that this happened, but are happy that nobody was killed” said Tage Jensen.
All Danish journalists reported on the accident. Because the Danish national team is the favourite in group D, the Danish media are the most numerous in the press centre in Zatika.
As he says, the uninjured students will attend the match as planned tonight.
