Dario Simic Thinking About Quitting National Team?

The standard stopper of the Croatian national team, Dario Simic, will think about his future in the national team after Euro 2008.

One of the pillars of the Croatian national team, Dario Simic, has not played much for his club Milan this season. He basically had the best seats on the stands of San Siro, and he could hardly wait for the national team’s gathering. 

- I do not need to prove anything to anyone anymore, I proved my value in the past 15 years. I am extremely motivated for this great competition, because after France, I want to repeat a semi final. I can not forget that and I would life to repeat such result – said Simic.

Dario has already played for a long time, and captain Niko Kovac has already decided to retire from the national team. Is Simic considering this possibility?

- We will see about a farewell after the European Championship. All options are open.

Before leaving for Rovinj, Dario took a look at Croatia’s group.

- Our target is to pass the group, but this is a must. It would be really fair if we finally get through to the second round.
