Eduardo: I will Forgive Taylor when He Apologises

Eduardo does not remember the time spent in hospital, so he is still waiting for Martin Taylor’s apology.

A month after the terrible injury, Eduardo gave his first real interview to the British media. In an exclusive interview for the Mirror, the Croatian player spoke about the time he spent in hospital. 

- I think that he came to the hospital, but I did not see him. My wife told me he came to visit me while I was taking surgery and someone showed her Taylor. Maybe he visited me when I was unconscious, but I surely did not see him. But, if he apologises, I will accept it. I am a son of God, that is why I will forgive him.

Eduardo will continue his recovery on April 15, in Rio de Janeiro, and he is optimistic as regards the continuation of his career.

- I feel much better, the worst is behind me and I do not feel pain anymore. I only want to carry on. I have spent my days watching movies and playing with my daughter. I do more and more things every days. I have new challenges, I visit Arsenal’s training camp. Here I am staying in a hotel and I am doing my best to feel better.
