I came off at half-time because I felt something in my hamstring, but I think I will be all right in two weeks – Eduardo said.
Arsenal reserves coach Neil Banfield revealed that he replaced Eduardo at half-time because he complained about pain in his hamstring, which is why he did not wish to take any chances, even though Dudu could have continued the match.
Good news is that despite the slight injury, Eduardo will not have to miss practice, but he will surely
not be playing again in two weeks` time.
Eduardo thinks this will not be a long break. He assumes that just a slight reaction is in question, usual when players stay off the pitch for a while.
- I came off at half-time because I felt something in my hamstring, but I think I will be all right in two weeks – Eduardo said.
However, the unbreakable Brazilian born Croatia international, who was often called “Da Svila”, is not depressed because of his new injury. On the contrary, he announced even more work to get back fully prepared and able to compete for the first team.
- Now I have to continue working hard and I expect to be myself very soon. If everything is alright with my hamstring, I hope to play for the first team this year – said the Croatian squad player.
Apart from Arsenal, Dudu mentioned the squad as well. He can hardly wait to return, because this gives him a special feeling.
