Arsenal decided to take the opportunity and perform an ankle arthroscopy, which requires a month of recovery.
Croatian football international and London`s Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva will definitely not be competing for Croatia`s upcoming World Cup qualifier against Ukraine scheduled for June 6 in Zagreb.
- Unfortunately, Dudu`s recovery is not as we had hoped it would be, the adductor injury is or such nature that he has no chances to fully recover until the match against the Ukraine, therefore he will definitely not be a part of the personnel for this match – Croatian football team manager Slaven Bilic said, who spoke with Dudu late on Tuesday night.
Bilic pointed out on Monday that Eduardo da Silva was in recovering and was invited in case he manages to heal the adductor injury. Unfortunately, it is of such character that it will require more time to heal.
In the light of such events, Arsenal has decided to take the opportunity and perform an ankle arthroscopy and according to available information at the moment, this is a necessary surgical procedure on Eduardo`s already operated left foot, which requires a month of recovery.
Thus, Dudu would simultaneously go through the rehabilitation process for both injuries and finally would welcome the new season well recovered.
