Son of once great footballer Paul Gascoigne recently said that it would be best for his father to die, which is truly a tragic statement, because the lad is only 12 years old. Outbursts of his father, who is an alcoholic and a drug addicts, made him say this.

Of course that this has shocked Gazza and made him think. However, he does not hold a grudge because he would hate someone like him, as he put it. This is why he has announced that he was trying to get “clean” for the last time and if he does not succeed, he is facing sure death.

Even though he loves and understands his son Regan, he emphasised it was a disaster that he was allowed to speak about him on TV, because a 12.year-old cannot understand what is happening around him, thus saying things that reporters twist and make him create headlines.

- This is all down to Sheryl. She has turned him against me and his mind is now poisoned against me – Gascoigne said, adding that he will return stronger than ever. He has decided to do so, because if he does not make it now, everything is over.

Therefore, he has decided to apply dedication, due to which he was a successful footballer. Stubbornness, perseverance and the desire to succeed were his characteristics on the pitch and all he needs in life is to pull through and get back the inclination of his family, which still loves him, regardless of everything.
