Middleweight DeGale, 23, enjoyed an easy four-round work out in dispatching his Georgian opponent.
British Olympic gold medallist James DeGale earned his first victory as a professional with a drab points victory over Georgian Vepkhia Tchilaia in Birmingham on Saturday.

Another British Olympian Billy Joe Saunders, 19, was the impressive winner on the night needing only a round and a half of a scheduled four round middleweight contest to dispatch Hungarian Attila Molner.
Saunders, who fought at welterweight during the Olympics, proved far to strong for his opponent, landing clean shots frequently with ease.
Former world amateur champion Frankie Gavin stopped Georgian George Kadaria in the fourth and final round of their light-welterweight contest.
Gavin, who was forced to pull out of the Olympics after failing to make his weight, suffered a cut on his nose from Kadaria but still proved to strong for his opponent
The trio joined another victorious debutant. Olympic bronze medallist Tony Jefferies. who stopped Aliaksandr Vayavoda of Belarus in the first round of their super-middleweight contest in Barnsley on Friday.
