Two Europe’s great teams, Inter and Barcelona, found themselves in dire straits after the first Champion’s League matches.
Brazilian player in Barcelona, Juliano Belleti, could pass the return game of the eight-finals of the Champion’s League against Liverpool after injuring his ankle. The 30-year-old stopper hurt his left ankle during a match against Liverpool in which Barcelona lost at Camp Nou 2-1. He is to rest 10 to 15 days.
Another great team, eaten into by injuries, Inter, will play the next couple of months without 30-year-old Frenchman Patrick Vieira, who has problems with his right leg muscle. In the game against Valencia they were also without Esteban Cambiasso, who will most probably miss the return match at Mestalla. The first match in San Sir ended with a draw 2-2.
