The former Arsenal striker thought he would play up front this season when he decided to stay at Barca.
"For now, it is not a topical matter. But if things stay the same, of course we will have to talk about this," Henry told the French sport daily L'Equipe in an interview published on Friday.
Henry did not come on to the pitch during Barca's 3-2 win over Real Betis on Wednesday with Guardiola fielding Andres Iniesta instead on the left wing.
The former Arsenal striker thought he would play up front this season when he decided to stay at Barca. Guardiola said at the time he did not want Samuel Eto'o anymore but the Cameroon forward is now the usual starter.
"It is true I had a talk with the coach before the season began. For me, this talk was very clear," Henry replied when asked if Guardiola told him he would play as a striker.
Henry said he had turned down offers from other clubs after his talk with Guardiola.
