HSV coach Martin Jol told the management to forget about all limitations and keep Ivica Olic in the club at all costs.
Croatian forward Ivica Olic will be a free player when the season ends, despite all negotiations. Ola is in excellent shape and decided on HSV`s win against Werder with his goal. Furthermore, his co-operation with fellow Croat Mladen Petric is excellent and it would be a crying shame if the duo were separated. Coach Martin Jol had the same option in mind, who is begging the club to agree to all Olic`s terms, despite regression.
- Ivica is very important to us. I don't want any of my top players to leave. He has the mentality that we need and of course we want to keep hold of him, and I have told the club this. Besides, Ivica was our top goal scorer last year - Jol said.
The best Croatian Bundesleague striker has five goals under his belt this year, and is in the 15 th position according to the rankings of scorers. On the other hand, his club is in the fifth spot with a minus of 5 points behind leading Hoffenheim. However, it is more important for them to get to the Champions League, and the place which will take them to the elite competition is only two points away.
