Karlovic defeated German Kohlschreiber after a match of 44 minutes. In the semi finals he will face Scottish player Andy Murray.
After a 44 minute match, Ivo Karlovic defeated Philippe Kohlschreiber by 7:6 (8); 7:6 (3) and conquered the semi finals of the ATP Masters Series, in Cincinnati, USA.
The Croatian giant once again scored a high number of aces, 24, with 72% in the first serve.
Karlovic had 29 unfornced erroes and 42 winners, while the German remained with 21 winners and 26 unforced errors. Ivo used only one break, in the second set, while his adversary used non.
In the semi finals, the Croatian player will play the ninth player in the world, Scot Andy Murray, to who he has lost twice up until now. The first time was in San Jose in 2007, by 6:7; 6:4; 6:7, and the second time was this year at the Indian Wells by 7:6; 6:7; 6:3.
