Veic surrendered the match over an injury, Skugor lost, but Roko Karanusic passed through to the third round of the tournament.
Croatia’s tennis player Antonio Veic surrendered the match in round two of the ATP challenger Zagreb Open after two hours and 40 minutes due to an injury to his wrist.
Veic got injured when he ran after the ball and hit the scoreboard with his arm. After he was treated, he tried to continue the match, but after two games he had to surrender the match to Argentina’s Brian Dabul .
At the time he gave up the match, the result was 2-2.
In the tournament, only Roko Karanusic is left standing from Croatian representatives who won against America’s Delic 6:3, 6:3.
