RECORD SCORER

The whole team played for him, and when he reached the number ten, everyone jumped up and down as if they won gold.
The Macedonian Kiril Lazarov has entered handball history! He scored 15 goals against South Korea and reached the number 92, which was enough to overtake the Korean Kyung-Shin Yoon, who scored 86 goals back in 1995.
At half time the Zagreb CO handball player had six points from a counter attack, from 11 attempts. He entered the second half by scoring a 7 meter penalty and then scoring from game-play, only to miss his second penalty. His hands were shaking slightly, but he fixed all of that in the game.
The whole team played for him, and when he reached ten goals, everyone jumped up and down and celebrated as if they had won the World Handball Championship.
The final result is 32:31 for Macedonia, if anybody is interested in that part of the story. The result confirms that the match itself was tense from the beginning. However, even though the result of the match will not be remembered for long, Kiril will be certainly be remembered for years.
