Kostelic Gave up Again, Raich Won

Ivica Kostelic gave up in the second run while the Austrian Benjamin Raich celebrated.

Ivica Kostelic missed the gate in the second run. This is the second consecutive time he gave up, and in the excellent run at Planai a home skier, Benjamin Raich, celebrated. 

Raich beat the winner of the two previous slaloms, Swede Jens Bygmmark in an excellent second run, and the Austrian Mario Matt took third place. Skiers move to Are, Sweden, for the World Championship.
