Bayern hopes to outrun Liverpool in winning over Croatia’s striker Ivica Olic, whose contract expired at the end of the season.
Bayern, Juventus, Middlesborough and Manchester City are all fighting for Croatia’s striker Ivica Olic. But so is Liverpool. Yes, the club from Anfield voiced interest in the Croatian player.
According to the Reeds’ official web site, they are bidding for Olic and are hoping to outbid the mighty Bavarians.
- Bayern Munich hope to beat Liverpool to the signing of Croatian international striker Ivica Olic, who’s contract at Hamburg expires at the end of the season – the web site writes.
While he played for Zagreb’s Dinamo, Olic dreamt of playing for Roma. But five years later, he outgrew the Italian club and now some “bigger guys” are interested in him. Yes, the Italians are interesting, but is there any greater honour for a football player than running out onto the Premiership field?
Liverpool’s answer to that would be NO, because Bayern will have a difficult time winning this race in which money does not play the crucial role. Ivica Olic has earned the right to choose and choose with a smile because, whichever club he picks, he cannot go wrong.
