Ivan Ljubicic lost the second finals of this season, Russian Mihail Juznij was better.
Ivan Ljubicic did not succeed in winning the ATP Rotterdam tournament. Russian Mihail Juznij was better in the finals with 6-2, 6-4.
Ljubo`s first game serve showed this would not be an easy match. Our first racquet had to save two break points, which he managed to do.
In the fifth game there was no saving him. Ljubicic had 40-30, but one mistake and an excellent return by Juznij ensured advantage to the Russian. Until the end of the set, Juznij kept his serve firmly, and once again managed to break Ljubicic for 6-2 in the fist set.
Both players played their serve games well in the second set, until the fifth game. Then it was Ljubicic`s turn once again. Unfortunately, the serve failed and Ljubo did not get a single point for his serve.
Until the end of the match Juznij did not give a break chance to our tennis player and won the Rotterdam tournament with the final 6-2, 6-4.
This was Juznij`s first victory in matches with Ljubicic. Ljubo celebrated in the six matches so far. s
