It is certain that there will not be a fight in Belgrade, but also that Mirko is signing a new contract for Dream, to fight Fedor.
According to various portals who write about the MMA, Mirko Filipovic was scheduled to fight in Belgrade’s Arena, which immediately caused reactions, by the public as well as Mirko himself, and his team.
“Even though the concrete offer did not come to me, I stress that I am not interested in a fight in Belgrade. After recovering from an operation, play plans are linked to Dream, or UFC” said Cro Cop for the Croatian newspaper Jutarnji List.
Whilst those statements were denied, those about signing a new contract with Dream were not, from the reason that the federation is growing and under it Mirko could get an opportunity to fight with Overeem, but what is most important, a new fight with Fedor, on New Year’s Eve.
