Mirko Filipovic in the Cage Again, June 13

The Lanxess Arena in Köln will witness Mirko’s comeback event called “The Comeback”. His opponent will be Mustapha Al-Turk.

Mirko Filipovic has removed all doubts, he is continuing his career in UFC’s cage, from which he does not really have nice memories. He only has two defeats (Kongo and Gonzala), and a lot of money. When he went back to Japan, it is as if he had been born again, but he obviously wants to settle some debt, battle some spirits from the past. This is what Cro Cop is like, and why he returned to America, stronger than earlier.

He confirmed this news on his blog, and announced that his first fight will be on June 13 against Mustapha Al-Turk, a 35 year old Englishman, who is of Lebanese origin. Mirko should not be too nervous, at least at first glance, because Al-Turk does not have a significant career, ten fights and four losses (one against Kongo).

The event will take place in Germany, at the UFC 99 event “The Comeback” on June 13. The fight will take place in the Lanxess Arena in Köln. Mirko claims that he is up to standard, he looks self confident, his injuries have healed, and his training sessions are progressing excellently. There is no reason that anyone could doubt in his certain victory!
