Mirko Filipovic Tricks UFC, Goes to DREAM

He talked about honour and all this other [expletive] and he [expletived] me, said Dana White.

Mirko Filipovic has gotten out of the UFC even before he got in. Leading up to his fight with Mostapha Al-Turk, he signed for DREAM, which turned out quite incorrect from his side, even though Cro Cop did not promise anything publically. However, he did promise things to Dana White.

However, Cro Cop is not upset about it, he has returned to Croatia, and gave a short statement in which he said that he is 94 percent certain that he will return to DREAM. He did not mention White or UFC, which is also not like the Mirko we know.

Because Mirko has been known as a man of his word up until now, who honestly does his job and never underestimates his opponents. However, he is now being attacked by everyone, and Dana White cannot keep quiet.

Mirko is a bigger brand in Japan, he is better suited to the ring, the way of preparing for fights is better in Japan because it is calmer there, it is not a show like the Americans make of it.

However, Mirko said that the UFC is currently the best MMA organization, and that the best fighters are in it, which is his additional motive. So it seems that he has gotten afraid of the competition and gone to where it is easier for him. This is not the Mirko we remember…
