Mirko Filipovic has gotten out of the UFC even before he got in. Leading up to his fight with Mostapha Al-Turk, he signed for DREAM, which turned out quite incorrect from his side, even though Cro Cop did not promise anything publically. However, he did promise things to Dana White.

Mirko is a bigger brand in Japan, he is better suited to the ring, the way of preparing for fights is better in Japan because it is calmer there, it is not a show like the Americans make of it. However, Mirko said that the UFC is currently the best MMA organization, and that the best fighters are in it, which is his additional motive. So it seems that he has gotten afraid of the competition and gone to where it is easier for him. This is not the Mirko we remember…
