Mirko Filipovic Vs Fedor on New Year’s Eve?

The head of the Dream organisation will try to organise a fight between Mirko Filipovic and Fedor Emelianenko for the end of this year.

The managers of the newly founded Dream organisation are trying to organise a fight between Croatian Mirko Filipovic and Russian Fedor Emelianenko which would be held on New Year’s Eve, Japanese portal Sportsnavi reports. 

The final decision could depend on the Russian fighter himself, because, apart from Dream, also the American UFC is trying to drag him into its ranks, and promised him a fight with Randy Couture. The president of Dream, Keiiti Sasahara, will do everything in his power to fulfill his project because this fight would be the best promotion for him and his organisation, not to mention the interest of the spectators and the sponsors.

Mirko has asked Dream to make him face a stronger adversary than Mizun, who was knocked out less than two minutes after the beginning of Cro Cop’s comeback fight. And there is no stronger fighter than Fedor at the moment.

Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic’s next fight should be held in July, during the third Dream show, and his opponent could be one among: Jerome Le Banner, Mighty Mo and Choi Hong-Man
