Murray rallies to beat Tipsarevic in Miami
The 2009 Miami champion shook off an upset stomach and a stiff Florida breeze to prevail 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 at Crandon Park.
The Scotsman dropped the first set and found himself down 0-2 in the second frame when he asked for a trainer as he battled what he later called "indigestion."
Murray then rallied to come away with the victory, recording six service breaks en route to the triumph.
He goes on to face the winner of Wednesday's late match between second-seeded Rafael Nadal and No. 6 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France.
The two other semifinalists will be determined Thursday when top-seeded Djokovic plays No. 5 David Ferrer of Spain and eighth-seeded American Mardy Fish takes on 21st-seeded Argentine Juan Monaco.
MIAMI, March 28 (UPI) -- Fourth-seeded Andy Murray reached the semifinals of the Sony Ericsson Open Wednesday with a three-set victory over Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic.
