Paerson Started Championship With Gold

Home skier Anja Paerson started the World Championship in the Swedish Are with gold.

In a race which was originally supposed to be on Sunday, on a quite ruined trail,  the home heroine Anja Paerson celebrated in front of the American Lindsey C Kildow and Austrian Renate Goetschl. An interesting race had a series of S curves in the middle, where the association was decided. Home skier did the middle part best, which was key for victory.
