The best handball player of the decade reacted emotionally, took the silver, but was not impressed by it.

A silver medal is a huge accomplishment, especially in the World Championship, but not everyone shares this view. For instance, Ivano Balic, who refused to put his medal around his neck, and instead, put it away in his pocket, clearly letting everyone know what he thought of Croatia`s final result.

It is understandable that Ivano was down, his face revealed despair, because of the defeat, or perhaps because he understands that he is not himself, that he could not have helped his teammates of going a step forward, to take home the shiniest of all the medals in front of the home audience.

Probably everything pilled up inside him and he reacted emotionally. He took the silver, but was not impressed by it, after all, he is a perfectionist. Too bad that the perfectionist did not work on himself, because he clearly cannot keep up like he used to.

He will say this is not true, he will not accept such thesis, but what is visible on the court speaks enough about everything. Whatever the case may be, Balic and all other handball players must sleep in it. Tomorrow is a new day and their heads will be cooler, more aware of the great success.
